Check-in was seamless, and the host's directions were clear and easy to follow. My parents (who drove separately) were using an outdated GPS and got turned around, but one of the neighbors happened to be at the gas station when they asked directions, and he stopped by an hour later just to make sure they'd made it safely. Throughout the weekend, we met several other neighbors; everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming.<br/>It was so hot during our stay that we skipped fishing, but a bald eagle showed us how it was done: it swooped down and caught a trout while we were watching from the deck! We also saw about a dozen deer, including a tiny fawn, a rabbit, and lots of river birds.<br/>The cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated, and the kitchen was well stocked. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway." (10/5)
